The Branford Buccaneers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Wakulla Christian School Saints to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Branford advances its record to 13-6 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Bell (Bell, FL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 9-7.

The Saints now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league match on Monday, March 31. Wakulla Christian School will battle a Seahawks squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Port St. Joe (Port St. Joe, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 12-6.
