The West Point Green Wave baseball squad (West Point, MS), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Friday's league contest with the host Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS)

With the triumph, Clarksdale moves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Water Valley (Water Valley, MS) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Water Valley won 4-0 in their recent league contest against Ingomar (New Albany, MS)

The Green Wave now possess a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pontotoc for a 5A Region 1 contest on Monday, March 31.
