McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), 15-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, McClatchy advances its record to 11-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Folsom (Folsom, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 2-9. Folsom lost 10-1 in their recent league match against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA)

The Cougars now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antelope for a Metropolitan Conference match on Monday, March 31. Kennedy will battle a Titans squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Titans record now stands at 6-6.
