In Friday's league game, the visiting Slocum Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 20-6 victory over the Oakwood Panthers.

The Mustangs (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Grace Community (Tyler, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, Grace Community defeated Christian Heritage (Longview, TX), 15-14, in a non-league game.

Next, the Panthers face the Slocum Mustangs (Elkhart, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 game, on Tuesday, April 15. Oakwood will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
