California High School Baseball - River Islands loses to Venture Academy

The River Islands Riptide baseball squad (Lathrop, CA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA)

With the triumph, Venture Academy moves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA) to confront the Titans in a Central California Athletic Alliance contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 0-2.

The Riptide now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turlock Christian for a Central California Athletic Alliance contest on Monday, March 31. River Islands will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
