The Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) baseball got by the visiting Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA), 8-7 in Friday's league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Pius X Catholic for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Monday, March 31. Southwest DeKalb will clash with a Golden Lions team coming off a 6-1 league win over Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 20-1.

With the defeat, Tucker drops to 6-18 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lithonia (Lithonia, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Monday, March 31. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Lithonia lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Northview (Johns Creek, GA)
