The Leigh Longhorns volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Monterey Dores to 1 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Soquel for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 29. Leigh will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Aptos (Aptos, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Monterey drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Dores travel to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 29.
