Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), 12-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Auburn advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to battle the Pioneers in a match on Tuesday, April 1. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 3-0. Fort Chiswell won 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Grayson County (Independence, VA)

The Mustangs now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath County for a non-league match on Thursday, April 3.
