The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) baseball trounced the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Rowan for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1.

With the defeat, Carson drops to 6-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1.
