The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) baseball trounced the host Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA), 11-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Americano for a challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Ponderosa will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 8-6.

With the defeat, Christian Brothers drops to 8-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA) to clash with the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Marauders go into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Jesuit won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Folsom (Folsom, CA)
