The Marvin Ridge Mavericks edged the host Providence Panthers lacrosse team by a tally of 14-13 in Friday's non-league match.

Next up, the Mavericks confront the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. Marvin Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 11-10 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 9-3 record.
