California High School Softball - Shasta edges Central Valley

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) and the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), observed Shasta's softball team get by Central Valley by a tally of 5-3.

The Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, West Valley tipped Corning (Corning, CA), 14-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Central Valley will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 26-4 non-league loss to Gridley (Gridley, CA).
