Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball team notch a victory over the visiting Holden Rockets (Holden, LA), 13-3 in a non-league bout.

The Tigers (17-6) will now prepare for their bout against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Belle Chasse gained a win over Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 8-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a B District 7 bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Holden will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 21-4 non-league win over Varnado (Angie, LA).
