Louisiana High School Softball - Doyle bounces Albany
March 20, 2025: Albany, LA 70711 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Doyle Tigers softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the Albany Hornets.
The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Jena (Jena, LA). The Giants come into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Jena nipped Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 22. Albany will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA).
