The crowd at Friday's league bout between the East Vikings (West Chester, PA) and the host Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), observed East's softball team get by Great Valley by a tally of 8-2.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Red Devils go into the Ches-Mont bout with a 6-0 record.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) in a Ches-Mont bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Great Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Vanguards go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Henderson (West Chester, PA).
