The Great Valley Patriots overwhelmed the visiting Kennett Blue Demons softball squad by a count of 14-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) in a Ches-Mont challenge, on Monday, April 28. Great Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 4-3 league loss to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA).

The Blue Demons (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Red Devils go into the Ches-Mont challenge with a 11-2 record.
