In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Eastern Eagles softball squad scored a close 7-3 triumph over the Clay Panthers.

With the triumph, Eastern improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Green (Franklin Furnace, OH) to play the Bobcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 31. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 2-1.

The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Western for a non-league game on Monday, March 30. Clay will play a Indians squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
