The Fall River Bulldogs softball team scored 16 runs and held the host CORE Butte Lynx to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 28. Fall River will encounter a Volcanoes team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Volcanoes record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, CORE Butte moves to 0-10 on the season. The Lynx travel to Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Five Star test on Tuesday, March 31. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-3. Los Molinos won 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Modoc (Alturas, CA)
