Alabama High School Softball - Comer nudges Fayetteville
March 29, 2022: Sylacauga, AL 35150 Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central of Coosa County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. Comer will face a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Fayetteville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wolves host Childersburg (Childersburg, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Childersburg won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellborn (Anniston, AL)
