The Clint Lions (Clint, TX) softball nipped the visiting Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), 10-9 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region I District 1 bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, San Elizario held off Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy (El Paso, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fabens for a 4A Region I District 1 bout on Friday, April 1.
