March 29, 2022: East Bend, NC 27018 The West Wilkes Blackhawks softball team (Millers Creek, NC), was routed 7-2 in Tuesday's league test with the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC)
Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A test, on Friday, April 1. Forbush will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 10-4 league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).
The Blackhawks (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers come into the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Watauga was routed by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 9-1, in a league test.
