Virginia High School Softball - John Battle bounces Lee
March 29, 2022: Bristol, VA 24202 John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 18-5 in a league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia High for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. John Battle will battle a Bearcats squad coming off a 18-16 non-league win over Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Lee falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA) to battle the Falcons in a Mountain 7 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Abingdon won 10-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)
