The Woodward Academy War Eagles crushed the host Alcovy Tigers baseball team by a count of 12-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The War Eagles now possess a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mundy's Mill for a 6A Area 3 bout on Friday, March 31. Woodward Academy will face a Tigers team coming off a 7-1 league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
