Ohio High School Softball - Roosevelt bounces Norton
March 29, 2024: Kent, OH 44240 Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Norton Panthers (Norton, OH), 19-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Rough Riders now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a Suburban - American challenge on Wednesday, April 3. Roosevelt will face a Hornets squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Medina (Medina, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Norton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH) to face the Rockets in a Metro Athletic Conference challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Streetsboro lost 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
