March 29, 2025: Springfield, MO 65809 The Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Blair Oaks Falcons to 4 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Strafford for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Springfield Catholic will clash with a Indians team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Seneca (Seneca, MO). The Indians record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, Blair Oaks drops to 4-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-3. Southern Boone won 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Owensville (Owensville, MO)
