Missouri High School Baseball - Springfield Catholic loses to Helias
May 5, 2025: Springfield, MO 65809 Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO), 9-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Helias advances its record to 10-10 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Hickman (Columbia, MO) to battle the Kewpies in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 6. The Kewpies come into the match with a record of 11-16.
The Fighting Irish now have a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reeds Spring for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 7. Springfield Catholic will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO). The Wolves record now stands at 5-12.
