In Saturday's non-league game, the host Weir Red Riders baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Elkins Tigers.

The Red Riders (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Crusaders enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Catholic Central defeated Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH), 9-6, in a non-league game.

Next, the Tigers face the North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Wednesday, April 2. Elkins will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Elkins (Elkins, WV).
