In Saturday's non-league game, the host McClatchy Lions baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Folsom Bulldogs.

The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Pacers enter the Metropolitan Conference game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Grant by Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA), 6-1, in a league game.
