The Bishop Watterson Eagles triumphed over the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Bishop Watterson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Elgin (Marion, OH).

The Fighting Irish (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay (Oregon, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Clay overcame Maumee (Maumee, OH), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
