Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX), 19-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ferris improves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, April 1. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 14-6. Venus lost 8-7 in their recent league game against Kennedale (Kennedale, TX)
