The Munising Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting North Central Jets to 43 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Superior Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 9. Munising will battle a Cougars team coming off a 45-37 league loss to Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-13.

The Jets (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Norway (Norway, MI). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Norway triumphed over Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI), 44-26, in a non-league contest.
