The Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 17-6 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Holly Springs upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Golden Hawks host Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Southwest Wake outing on Tuesday, March 8. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Apex Friendship won 21-9 in their recent league outing against Green Hope (Cary, NC)

With the defeat, Middle Creek drops to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Green Level (Cary, NC) to battle the Gators in a Southwest Wake outing on Tuesday, March 8. The Gators go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Green Level won 19-1 in their recent league outing against Cary (Cary, NC)
