March 3, 2022: Oneonta, AL 35121 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) and the visiting Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL), saw Oneonta's soccer squad triumph over Pennington by a count of 6-1.
The Redskins now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Etowah for a 4A-5A Area 11 test on Tuesday, March 8. Oneonta will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Pennington drops to 0-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Bernard Prep (Cullman, AL) to meet the Saints in a 1A-3A Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Saints come into the test with a record of 3-0. St. Bernard Prep won 4-1 in their recent league test against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
