Louisiana High School Softball - Sam Houston bounces Kaplan
March 3, 2022: Kaplan, LA 70548 The Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) softball routed the host Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 16-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Broncos (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, West Monroe toppled Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA), 14-0, in a non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Beauregard for a non-league bout on Monday, March 7. Kaplan will confront a Knights squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
