Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deer Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Maricopa will face a Skyhawks squad coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Skyhawks record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Mesquite falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to face the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4.
