Texas High School Baseball - Madison loses to San Marcos
March 3, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78247 The San Marcos Rattlers crushed the host Madison Mavericks baseball team by a count of 7-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rattlers now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. San Marcos will face a Warriors team coming off a 6-0 league win over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Mavericks face the Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, March 7. Madison will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
