Texas High School Soccer - Anahuac knocks off Liberty
March 3, 2023: Anahuac, TX 77514 Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Livingston Lions (Livingston, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Anahuac will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Hargrave (Huffman, TX).
The Panthers now possess a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Splendora for a 4A Region 3 District 18 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Liberty will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 0-0 league East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-12.
