New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Rancho bounces Miyamura
March 3, 2023: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM), 16-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Lunas for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Rio Rancho will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 20-2 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Miyamura falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Los Alamos won 19-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
