Georgia High School Soccer - Wayne County overwhelmed by Benedictine
March 3, 2023: Savannah, GA 31406 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), saw Benedictine's soccer squad beat Wayne County by a margin of 4-0.
The Cadets now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Bulloch for a 4A Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 7. Benedictine will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Wayne County drops to 2-5 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Islands (Savannah, GA) to meet the Sharks in a 4A Area 3 test on Tuesday, March 7. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 8-2. Islands won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Savannah Arts Academy (Savannah, GA)
