The Bears now hold a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a 5A Region 3 District 23 test on Tuesday, March 7. Bastrop will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Elgin drops to 6-10 on the season. The Wildcats host Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 5A Region 3 District 23 test on Tuesday, March 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-9. Pflugerville lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX)
