Texas High School Softball - Skidmore-Tynan nudges King
March 3, 2023: Kingsville, TX 78364 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) and the host King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX), saw Skidmore-Tynan's softball squad nip King by a count of 9-8.
The Bobcats now sport a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to George West for a non-league match on Friday, March 3. Skidmore-Tynan will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Kaufer (Riviera, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, King falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Mathis (Mathis, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, March 4. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 10-6. Mathis won 7-1 in their recent non-league match against San Diego (San Diego, TX)
