In Monday's non-league bout, the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), by a tally of 2-1.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Bunker Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wolves come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 11-6 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).
