The East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) baseball held off the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 4-3 in Friday's league test.

The Cavaliers now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, April 8. East Burke will play a Wolves team coming off a 10-4 league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 5-12.

With the defeat, Bunker Hill drops to 8-8 on the year. The Bears host Maiden (Maiden, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, April 8.
