In Friday's league bout, the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), by a tally of 13-3.

Next up, the Bears encounter the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Bunker Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 7-7 record after their 4-3 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
