The Tara Trojans triumphed over the visiting False River Gators baseball squad by a final score of 17-7 in Monday's non-league contest.

With the triumph, Tara moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Flames in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 6. The Flames come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Family Christian lost 16-6 in their recent non-league contest against Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA)

The Gators now possess a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Private for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4. False River will confront a Redhawks squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 9-4.
