McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 17-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, McDowell moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Titans travel to CHASE (Forest City, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, March 5. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 0-0.
