The McDowell Titans triumphed over the host Mitchell Mountaineers baseball squad by a score of 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Titans now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Caldwell for a test on Thursday, April 2. McDowell will play a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.

With the defeat, Mitchell drops to 4-6 on the year. The Mountaineers host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a test on Tuesday, April 14. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 2-8. Mountain Heritage won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Avery County (Newland, NC)
