The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) and the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), saw Patton's baseball team gain a win over Mitchell by a tally of 7-3.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bunker Hill was overwhelmed by Bandys (Catawba, NC), 11-7, in a league contest.
