Spectators at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) and the host Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA), saw Maurepas's softball squad nip Loranger by a score of 8-4.

With the triumph, Maurepas improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Wolves host Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Friday, March 6. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Claiborne Christian lost 12-1 in their recent non-league bout against Mangham (Mangham, LA)

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 5. Loranger will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Crescents go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA).
