The Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) baseball nipped the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 7-6 in Wednesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Poca The Dots (Poca, WV) in a Cardinal contest, on Friday, April 1. Nitro will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The The Dots enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 11-5 league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV).
